Israel Luxury

A journey to Israel, through the eyes of Anita

I am excited to have been invited as a guest of the Israeli Tourism Board on what is truly a trip of a lifetime. I am honored to be spending the next nine days touring the Holy Lands of Israel and taking in the rich heritage and vibrant culture this beautiful country offers.

I have had a love affair with Israel after researching this amazing country for a recent client trip. I had grown up with the stories in the bible, and have always known that Israel is the centre of faith for so many. With thousands of followers making pilgrimages to the various religious sites each year, it is easily one of the most visited nations in the world. What I was surprised to learn, was about the revolutionary culinary scene, the exciting nightlife, the bustling tech industry, the iconic architecture and the up and coming viticulture that attracts so many young visitors each year.

My upcoming travels will include a balance of both historical treasures, such as the biblical sites of Jerusalem, Caesarea, Akko, Masada and the Judean Desert as well as the modern sites including, contemporary art galleries, trendy cafes, sun kissed beaches and the Bauhaus architecture in the streets of Tel Aviv, known as the “White City”. Basking on the shores of the salty Dead Sea will be a highlight for me and I am very curious to sample local wines cultivated from these ancient lands.

Tel Aviv is known as the “New York of the Middle East” and is such a cosmopolitan city. With so many cultures converging in this small coastal town, it is a melting pot of traditions and truly the ideal location for creative culinary fusion. A self-proclaimed ‘foodie-nation”, Israel takes pride in their place amongst the International culinary scene. I am beyond excited to seek out and explore the many markets, juice stands, food stalls, restaurants, cocktail bars and boutique organic hotels for which Israel is famed.

I am graciously being hosted for these nine days by Isrotel Hotels, Gordon Tours and El Al Airlines. Be sure to check out Tripzter Travel’s Facebook page for my airline profile, hotel spotlights, destination snapshots, videos and more.

Luxury Food and Wine Australia

In my opinion, food should be a foundation of every traveller’s experience. And whenever possible, wine should be added. Australia has something for everyone and whatever that may be, I’d love to add some fine dining and Australian wine to your Australian bucket list experience.

What’s your passion? Looking for a cultural experience incorporating Aboriginal history? Or a nature getaway with a wellness focus? Or that Australian fishing trip you’ve been fantasizing about?

Let me help you create it… Here are some ideas of bespoke itineraries I can put together, staying at some of Australia’s most luxurious lodges, and served with the finest of Australian ingredients.

Essential Ingredient – South Australia

Looking for some soft adventure and sunshine? Bicycle is a very pleasant vehicle for culinary experiences! Enjoy leisurely cycling through glorious vineyards stopping only for amazing food or wine. Whether you’re tasting in Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra or Clare Valley, I can help create an amazing trip. Not into bicycles? How about luxury car or helicopter…?

The Louise – Barossa Valley

Queensland – Taste the Tropics

Welcome to paradise, where tropical fruit, local produce and fresh seafood are bountiful. Looking to try some Hervey Bay scallops, Mooloolaba prawns or Moreton Bay bugs in an oceanfront restaurant after an amazing afternoon on the Great Barrier Reef? Or do you prefer to throw your own catch on the barbeque after a relaxing day fishing off the Fraser Coast? Whatever your Queensland adventure involves, I’ll make sure it’s memorable and delicious.

Paddock to Plate – Tasmania

Named by Lonely Planet in 2015 as the 4th top region to visit in the world, Tasmania has food lovers covered. Tasmania boasts some of the finest artisan cheeses in Australia, paired nicely with a sophisticated range local cool climate wines. Farmers markets display an abundance of mouth watering berries, crisp apples, and pears as well as specialty honey. Also known for it’s magnificent wild trout, world quality fly (and lure) fishing, boutique beers and whiskey, there’s no shortage of fresh culinary delights in Tasmania.
